About me
I am Associate Teaching Professor of French at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where I teach French at all levels of acquisition, from first-semester French to senior and graduate seminars on modern and contemporary issues. I received a PhD. in French Studies from Washington University in St. Louis. I wrote a dissertation on René Char’s World War II poetry. My research interests are modern poetry, surrealism, masculinity in French modern and contemporary literature, violence and care studies. I am also very interested in issues of diversity and inclusion in the French curriculum.
